Our Annual fundraisers are always fun and help to bring more services to our community.
March 3rd 2018 will be our 2nd Annual Quarter Auction. For this event we partner with The Whitefield Senior Recreation Program. It is a typical quarter auction. You buy a paddle with a number for $5 when you arrive, numbers all go into a bucket or similar, then the auctioneer shows an item and lets you know how many quarters you will need to put in to bid on each various item. Next you put your paddle up and if your number is called you win. We also serve various lunch food items. Our baked potato bar was a hit last year.
Caleb has a yard sale each year on the 2nd Saturday in August which is always the same day as Whitefield’s Community Day. Volunteers and clients donate their gently used items for Caleb to raise money to help local seniors. The sale is always held in the McIntyre Apartment’s auditorium in Whitefield NH and the room is always packed full of clothes, books, toys, holiday decorations and more. There is something for everyone. All items are sold by donation.
Dinner and Auction:
Our 2nd Annual Pasta Dinner will be held again at The Inn at Whitefield on May 3rd 2018. Joanne Jacaruso (owner of the Inn) provides all the delicious food and many local business owners donate tickets or goodies to be raffled off in the form of a silent auction and a bucket auction.
Volunteer Appreciation Lunch:
Each year Caleb hosts a lunch typically in the Fall to thank all our amazing volunteers for everything they do all year long. Our Volunteers spend all year helping the Caleb clients, but we try to take care of them at least for one day each year. Each year a Volunteer of the Year is chosen.
